Our expert designers and kitchen fitters in Milton Keynes had the pleasure of working closely with our lovely client to transform the ground floor of their simply gorgeous 1800s home. The project involved designing and installing a wonderful new kitchen that flowed effortlessly into their utility room, incorporating the same rustic theme throughout.

For the kitchen, our client chose the timeless Mornington Shaker range by Second Nature in a classicly elegant Porcelain shade, complete with a Sineda quartz worktop and matching splashback. Our team cleverly integrated a range of Bosch appliances into the design, including an induction hob and dishwasher, along with a Franke extractor. To complete this stunning kitchen, a modern Belfast sink was installed, beautifully complemented by a chrome bridge-style tap also by Franke.
To update their utility room, our client combined light grey Georgia shaker doors with contemporary under cabinet lights. Another Franke tap was installed, but in this instance, the Athena style in colour Silksteel. Natural oak timber was also used on their bench to add the perfect finishing touch to this charming space.
Working in an 1800s property certainly gave us some challenges, but we were able to find resolutions for every hurdle encountered, and what a result! This kitchen has a beautiful, homely atmosphere, incorporating lots of handy storage solutions, and we couldn’t be happier to have received such amazing feedback from our client.
